The Dana Hills High School boys varsity water polo team has officially concluded the 2025 season with a series of wins and competitive matchups. The Dolphins are finishing the season with a record of 9-12, while remaining undefeated in league play at 6-0, securing first place in the Sea View League. The Dolphins recently defeated the Tesoro Titans 14–1, followed by an 18–3 win over the El Toro Chargers on October 14. Despite a close 8–11 loss to Capistrano Valley Cougars on October 9, the team previously had another strong game with a 21–4 victory over the Mission Viejo Diablos on October 6. Earlier in the month, the Dolphins lost against the Grossmont Foothillers on October 4th with a score of 7-12 and the Carlsbad Lancers on October 2nd with a score of 8-16 in non-league play. The team maintained its strong form in late September, continuing their win streak with victories over Tesoro on September 30th with a score of 19-4, El Toro on September 25th with a score of 14-2, and Capistrano Valley on September 24th with a score of 5-17 in back-to-back league matches. The team also recorded additional wins against the San Juan Hills Stallions on September 9th and participated in tournament play against the King Wolves on September 5th. Throughout the 2025 season, Dana Hills displayed coordinated defensive strategies and a high-scoring offensive approach. The team’s performance reflected a balanced approach on both ends of the pool. Overall, the team completed the season with a 9-12 overall record and first place in the Sea View League with a league score of 6-0.
