There was a blood drive on September 19, and it was held by ASU and is partnered with Life Stream Blood Bank, and it is similar to the Red Cross. The blood drive was held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event was held out on the basketball fields, and they brought two blood mobiles. Each person who donated had to be at least a hundred-ten pounds, if under seventeen they must have had parental consent, and they had to bring a photo ID to verify age. Anyone who decided to donate blood once received a ten dollar In-N-Out gift card, and if they decided to donate twice the person would have gotten a twenty dollar In-N-Out gift card. ASU member Chloe Voke stated that the “blood drive was definitely a success and there were around sixty students who participated.” Life Stream’s goal is to help the community because they are local. The foundation has helped out eighty local hospitals. Each person who donated at least saved three adult lives, and eight baby lives.
