The girls waterpolo team had a tough season. While they had some major losses they also had some great victories against tough contenders. In the most recent match the girls managed to finish off the season strong, as they came on top for their final match against San Juan Hills on the Jan. 28 with their score being 12-7. In the match prior, it seems Beckman is a tough team as on Jan. 27 the girls lost 6-23, while on Jan. 15 they had yet another loss with a much larger difference of 6-19. Despite competing with such a harsh school there was some positivity from the team. Junior Regan Grabske remarked, “It was kinda cool when Beckman brought their band to play, it was kind of a vibe”. The team had a small but victorious comeback with their win against Temescal Canyon, When asked about this harsh season, varsity player Taylor Nguyen remarked that, “we are in a higher league so it is a little bit harder [this year].” Grabske also noted that, “We lost a few good seniors last year so we kinda had to rebuild as a team.” A streak of losses for the girls began as they suffered another game that is close but ultimately ended up being 4-6 to Irvine on Jan. 10. They barely lost to Glendora in their next match and their resulting score was 10-11. However, as their season was being carried on into the new year, they then had their first great loss of the season against Capistrano Valley being 5-12 on Jan. 6, 2026. In 2025 it seemed their first couple of games were much better as they had a tight match but ultimately came out on top against our rival school, Aliso Niguel, winning 8-7 on Dec. 11. For their first match their season started off very strong, winning against San Juan Hills 10-4 on Dec. 9.
