The boys basketball season officially tipped off on December 4th, and the team currently holds a 5–7 record after strong wins against the Marina Vikings, Yorba Linda Mustangs, Western Pioneers, and Laguna Beach Breakers, though tournament play proved challenging. The girls basketball team sits at 2–4, earning victories over Northwood and Katella but facing tough losses to Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, El Modena, Tesoro, and Loara. The Girls Tennis season officially ended with five CIF wins after 13 hard matches, closing on November 10 against Oaks Christian in the seniors’ final game, which included a brief scare when a man recording the girls was removed; earlier, they defeated Rancho Cucamonga, with Anna Scott and Saylor Schutte going 9–0 in all three CIF games despite a stressful new tiebreaker rule. The boys soccer team holds a 4–3 record, with recent results including a 2–1 loss to University, a 2–0 win over Fullerton, a 4–0 loss to Northwood, and earlier victories over Warren, Laguna Beach, and Woodbridge, while the girls soccer team has begun 0–4–2, suffering losses to Laguna Beach, Northwood, South Hills, and Rancho Buena Vista but earning ties against University and Laguna Hills. The football team ended its season after a strong run, beating Northwood 49–6, narrowly falling to Aquinas 27–26 after a major comeback attempt, and losing a rainy, hard‑fought game to Palos Verdes 14–13, with Carter Anderson praising the coaches and seniors for shaping the season. Girls Volleyball reached CIF and ended its season on November 13 after a close 2–3 loss to Carlsbad, following strong wins over Westview, La Canada, Santiago, Quartz Hill, Arcadia, Capo Valley Christian, Trabuco Hills, and Aliso Niguel, finishing 15–14 and third in league. In Cross Country, Oliver Hunter became the Division 3 CIF‑SS State individual champion with a 14:55 5k, winning CIF prelims, CIF‑SS, and State on November 29, while the boys team placed fourth in league and 13th at CIF‑SS; girls runner Miranda Toral said the season went well and expressed excitement for her younger teammates’ future. The boys wrestling team opened with losses to San Clemente, Aliso Niguel, and Laguna Beach, and will face El Toro on January 13 as they continue gaining experience, while the girls wrestling team, currently 0–3, has shown improvement after losses to San Clemente and Aliso Niguel and a close 36–30 match against Trabuco Hills, hoping to turn the season around. The girls tennis, soccer, volleyball, football, cross country, wrestling, and basketball teams all continue to push through competitive schedules, showing resilience, growth, and determination across every program.
