Lorde Tour, Back From 4 Year Hiatus

By Moneli Nazeri

On October 18th, I finally experienced what I had been anticipating for years: seeing Lorde live in concert. I was able to attend her Ultrasound World Tour at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. It was a one‑night‑only event that drew an incredibly loud and enthusiastic crowd. I attended the concert with one of my close friends, whom I had surprised last month with pit tickets. I usually manage to get tickets to every concert I attend, but for this one, I had to purchase resale tickets, and it was absolutely worth every dollar. From the moment Lorde appeared on stage, the energy in the arena was electric. As someone who grew up listening to her music, seeing her perform in person was an emotional experience. “Green Light” stood out as a highlight due to its high energy and infectious excitement, while “David” was unforgettable because she walked directly into the crowd, passing just in front of me. Witnessing such intimate moments with a performer I admire deeply made the concert feel personal and remarkable. The encore was particularly memorable when Lorde brought out Charli XCX to perform “Girl So Confusing.” The collaboration elevated the energy in the arena to an entirely new level, leaving the audience exhilarated. By the end of the night, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and awe. Having attended over twenty five concerts, I can confidently say this one ranks among my absolute favorites. Experiencing Lorde live, after years of listening to her music, was more than a concert, it was an unforgettable event that I will remember for the rest of my life.
