Heartbreak On Tour

By Audrey Cueto

Conan Gray marked the final stop of his U.S. leg of the Wishbone World Tour on March 20 in Los Angeles, California. He has been touring since February and has put on a memorable experience for his fans. He had costume changes, set changes, and fan‑interactive parts all included within his show. He had two surprise song sets, one where a fan from the crowd was chosen to “break a wishbone” with him and choose which song they’d like him to sing based on the two choices on the big screen. He also had a “campfire song” where he would sit by a campfire set and sing one of his older songs for the crowd. Since this show was in Los Angeles, it’s safe to say that it was filled with celebrities who were there to support Gray during his show. Mckenna Grace, a prominent actress, was chosen to break the wishbone and choose the surprise song. We were lucky enough to hear him play “Comfort Crowd” and “Yours” as the surprise songs. Olivia Rodrigo and Sombr were also there enjoying the show, and fortunately for me, they were sitting in the section behind my seat the entire time. Lizzy McAlpine was there as well, as she was posting videos of the concert on her Instagram story afterwards. Conan Gray himself knows how to put on a show. He sang all his hits, with songs including “Heather,” “Vodka Cranberry,” “Caramel,” and “Maniac.” He kept the crowd entertained the entire time and you could hear everyone singing along during every song. To top it all off, he announced his Wishbone Deluxe album would be coming out on April 24, which will hopefully include some of his unreleased songs that he performs live. Conan Gray definitely set the bar high for his remaining shows, and from his performance, you can tell that this is Gray’s passion.
