This fall, Tate McRae brought her highly successful Miss Possessive Tour to Los Angeles for three sold‑out shows at the Kia Forum on September 26, September 27, and November 8, and I attended both the opening night on the 26th and the official closing night on November 8, getting to see the show evolve into a fully polished finale. Zara Larsson opened the first two L.A. dates with a bold and energetic performance that set the tone for the night, while Alessi Rose joined as the opener for the final show, bringing a fresh sound to the lineup. Both nights, I had the VIP pit package, which included early merch shopping, early entry into the pit, and a VIP soundcheck where Tate answers fan questions and ends by taking selfies with a couple of fans, and on the 26th, I was lucky enough to be one of the fans chosen for the selfie. Tate’s live show proves why she stands out in today’s pop scene, as she constantly dances with sharp, athletic choreography while delivering strong live vocals without missing a beat, and combined with impressive lighting and visuals, the concert becomes a fully immersive experience. The energy from the crowd was electric both nights, with fans singing every word and matching Tate’s intensity from start to finish, and the connection she created made the massive venue feel personal and unforgettable. During the final L.A. show, Tate surprised the crowd by announcing the deluxe version of her album titled So Close To What???, which officially released on November 21, and it was the perfect way to close a tour that clearly resonated with fans and hinted that Tate McRae has much more planned for the future.
